Twenty two patients with inoperabl non-small cell lung cancer was treated with the regimen of Cisplatin and Etoposide. Cisplatin was given at doses of 20 mg/m2day and Etoposide 100 mg/day for five days. The regimen repeated every 21 days. Ten patients had limited disease and twenty two patients had disseminated disease. Eight patients has previously received chemotherapy, and three of them received CAMP (Cyclophosphamid, doxorubicin, methotrexate, procarbazine). Four patients (% 18,2)achieved complete remission (CR) and two patients (%9.1) had partial remission (P.R). Total response rate was % 27.3. Median survival of the responders couldn't be determined, because, the follow-up and number of the patients who had response were failure. In conlusion, this regimen wasn't found superior to CAMP other non-cisplatin regimens.
