QUALITY OF LIFE DURING TREATMENT FOR CANCER

GATA, Radyasyon Onkolojisi AD., Ankara The most appropriate source of information for quality of life evaluation is now generally accepted to be the patient himself. Assessment of quality of life produces an outcome measure of treatment, which allows us to tailor a treatment to the patient's needs. In this article, we look at ways quality of life can be measured and the clinical importance of this evaluation in treating cancer. Keywords :
