We examined 41 cases of thyroid carcinoma operated between years 1980-1985'in our clinic. The medium age of these patients (29 women and 12 men) was 44. While the 92.7% of the cases were well differentiated tumors, the undifferentiated tumor rate was found as 7.3%. Among the operative procedures, total thyroidectomy and lobectomy rate was as high as 56%, postoperative complication rates were low and there was no operative mortality.
