CHONDROSARCOMA OF THE RIB: REPORT OF TWO CASES

This study was planned to report two cases related to chondrosarcoma which were not common and treated mainly radical resection. Case 1. A 65 years old woman was operated because of subdiaphragmatic mass. During exploration, the tumor originated 11 th rib were determined, and radical resection was applied. The patient has no problem for two years follow-up. Case 2. A 40 years woman underwent surgery following prediagnosis of chest wall tumor located in 3rd and 4 th ribs. Radical resection was applied, and reconstruction was carried out by using sandwich graft consisting of prolene mesh and methyl methacrylate. The patient has no problem for two months postoperative.
