A CASE OF ACUTE MYELOMONOCTYIC LEUKEMIA DURING TREATMENT OF SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER

Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi Tıbbi Onkoloji BD Refractory anemia was diagnosed following chemotherapy including ifosfamide + cisplatin + etoposide and radiotherapy in a 52 years old man with small cell lung cancer. Therefore, therapy could not be continued. Also acute myelomoncytic leukemia was diagnosed two months after refractory anemia. Patient died due to intracranial bleeding on the fifth day of the induction therapy for leukemia. Keywords : Small cell lung cancer, acute non-lymphocytic leukemia, chemotherapy, radiotherapy
